Tony Khan Did not Need Me In AEW, Chris Jericho Did


Jake Hager displays on his time in AEW and says that whereas Tony Khan didn’t need him there, Chris Jericho did.

Hager joined AEW in 2019 and debuted as a member of The Internal Circle alongside Chris Jericho. He later joined forces with Jericho within the Jericho Appreciation Society. Hager confirmed that his AEW contract expired this previous June.

Talking on Going Ringside (through News4JAX), Jake Hager was requested about becoming a member of AEW.

“It was superior,” Hager mentioned. “Chris Jericho is the best of all time, one among my favorites. For him to deliver me in and say I’m his man, what a praise. Tony [Khan] didn’t need me there, however Chris did, he wished me there, and it was superior. Working with the Internal Circle was one among my favourite issues. Working with the Jericho Appreciation Society, one among my favourite issues. Considered one of my favourite moments of my profession was the Stadium Stampedes that we did. Simply good instances.”
