A former England rugby union worldwide is believed to have died after going lacking in a flood-affected space throughout a storm in northern England.
Tom Voyce, 43, is suspected of getting drowned after attempting to drive via his automobile on Saturday night time, Northumbria Police stated.
It’s thought his automobile was swept away by the river’s present. The automobile has been recovered by police, however Voyce continues to be lacking.
“It’s believed in his makes an attempt to flee he has been swept away and tragically died,” the police acknowledged in an announcement on Tuesday, as reported by British media.
A prolific tryscorer from wing or fullback, Voyce was a part of an all-conquering Wasps group that did the Premiership and European Cup double in 2004.
He gained 9 England caps between 2001 and 2006, together with two in opposition to Australia, and retired from the sport in 2013.
