Igor Severino will return for the primary time since his notorious biting incident.
Severino (8-1) meets former two-time bantamweight champion Jonas Magard (17-6) Dec. 29 at OKTAGON 65 from O2 Enviornment in Prague, Czech Republic, promotion officers introduced Monday.
Severino was disqualified for biting Andre Lima within the arm throughout their battle in March, which was his UFC debut. The Dana White’s Contender Sequence graduate was instantly launched from his contract, and obtained a nine-month suspension and $2,000 high quality from the Nevada Athletic Fee.
Days after the incident, Severino apologized for biting Lima in an interview with MMA Junkie. He seems ahead to returning to motion for the outstanding Czech-Slovak promotion.
“I’ll make my debut in OKTAGON MMA towards Jonas Magard,” Severino mentioned in an Instagram video. “I’m very excited for the battle. I can’t wait to go there and placed on a present for everyone. Jonas, I see you quickly. I’m prepared. Dec. 29, let’s go.”
