Sebastian Montoya has earned a promotion to System 2 and can contest the 2025 season with Prema Racing, returning to the squad he final raced for in 2022.
The 19-year-old son of seven-time grand prix winner Juan Pablo Montoya will associate Gabriele Mini on the Italian squad, which completed fifth within the 2024 standings.
Montoya first joined Prema in 2020 to compete in System 4 and System Regional, earlier than becoming a member of Hitech Grand Prix for his transfer to System 3 in 2023.
