Shelton Benjamin Makes AEW Debut On 10/2 AEW Dynamite


Shelton Benjamin has arrived in AEW.

MVP debuted at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, and he gave his enterprise card to Prince Nana. He made it clear that he was considering doubtlessly speaking enterprise with Swerve Strickland.

One week later, on the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, MVP appeared in a backstage phase, and he was interrupted by Prince Nana. Nana expressed his frustration with MVP and famous that he would lace his boots up for MVP. MVP responded by saying that he didn’t take care of complaints, however “he” did. He launched Shelton Benjamin as his enterprise accomplice and the president of their criticism division. Benjamin stared Nana down and took his espresso.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Choose reported that Benjamin signed with AEW a few weeks previous to his debut. Sapp beforehand wrote that MVP, Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley had been in talks with AEW, and Benjamin’s signing was confirmed after MVP’s debut.

Benjamin briefly commented on his signing in a tweet.

Benjamin beforehand had two prolonged stints in WWE. He’s a former WWE United States Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and three-time Tag Workforce Champion. WWE launched him in a wave of cuts in September 2023. In current months, he has been wrestling on the unbiased scene.
