The Bloodline Earns WWE Tag Title Shot On WWE SmackDown


The Bloodline earned a shot on the gold on WWE SmackDown.

On the July twenty sixth episode of WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline (Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu) defeated The Road Income, Legado del Fantasma, Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews, The O.C., and Fairly Lethal to earn a shot at DIY’s WWE Tag Staff Championship.

Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews began the bout with Legado del Fantasma (Angel and Berto). Legado del Fantasma took management early on. Corbin ultimately hit the Finish of Days out of nowhere to get rid of Legado del Fantasma. The Road Income had been the following crew out. Ford and Crews went forwards and backwards. Corbin tagged in and overpowered Ford. He dove onto the Road Income at ringside.

Corbin hit Ford with a diving clothesline. The Road Income double-teamed Crews and eradicated him. Fairly Lethal entered the bout and gained the higher hand. They grounded Ford and remoted him. The Road Income later rallied and hit a double-team Blockbuster on Prince to get rid of him.

The O.C. entered the bout. After a business, they had been in management, as Anderson was grounding Ford. Gallows maintained the benefit. Dawkins fired up with a dive to the surface. He caught Gallows with a pin to get rid of him. The Bloodline (Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu) is the final crew to enter the bout. Tonga and Fatu grounded Dawkins and remoted him. Sikoa interfered to assist his stablemates proceed to keep up the higher hand. Ford rallied and hit a diving crossbody. Ford dove onto The Bloodline at ringside.

Tonga dodged a frog splash, and Fatu dove onto Dawkins. Fatu popped up after a DDT and rocked Ford with a superkick. Fatu scored the win with a diving moonsault.

The order of elimination is as follows:

  • Legado del Fantasma (Angel & Berto)
  • Apollo Crews & Baron Corbin
  • Fairly Lethal (Elton Prince and Equipment Wilson)
  • The O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows)
  • The Road Income (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins)
