To qualify for the championships, a T.I.P.-eligible Thoroughbred should take part in a present providing T.I.P. excessive level awards, lessons, or divisions within the relevant self-discipline starting August 1 of the prior yr via July 31 of the championships yr or take part within the T.I.P.
